The Lithuanian national selection is getting closer to the final. Pabandom iš Naujo! Semi-Final 2 will air today with 8 candidates competing for one of the last final spots.
Pabandom iš Naujo! – Semi-Final 1 took place last week, when we got to know the first 4 finalists. Today’s show will feature 8 candidates instead of the initial 9 because of the withdrawal of Evgenya Redko due to health problems. So, at the end of the broadcast, we will know the full line-up for the final on February 15th.

As in previous weeks, today’s show will be aired pre-recorded. However, the public will be able to vote for their favourites during the broadcast. The jurors have already cast their votes which will be mixed with the ones from the audience at home to decide the 4 qualifiers.
Tonight’s expert panel will be made up of 5 professionals, Ramūnas Zilnys, Jievaras Jasinskis, Giedrė Kilčiauskienė, Leonas Somovas and Gerūta Griniūtė. Their results will be revealed at the end of the show to avoid any influence on the public decision.
Next week, the Lithuanian national selection will conclude with the Grand Final, which will be broadcast live from Grunwald Arena. A 5-person jury panel and the public will choose the Lithuanian entry for the Eurovision Song Contest 2020.
