Tonight: Watch Supernova 2020 final live from Latvia

The final of Supernova 2020 will take place today. This year, the Latvian entry for the Eurovision Song Contest will be selected from a single show which will feature 9 acts.

A record number of 126 entries were submitted for the Baltic national selection. Then, a jury panel consisting of 18 professionals selected the 26 acts that took part in the audition round from which they selected the Latvian finalists based on their own criteria and YouTube feedback. The running order for the final of Supernova is as follows:

  1. Seleste – “Like Me”
  2. DRIKSNA – “Stay”
  3. Katrīna Bindere – “I Will Break Your Heart”
  4. Edgars Kreilis – “Tridymite”
  5. Katrīna Dimanta – “Heart Beats”
  6. Miks Dukurs – “I’m Falling For You”
  7. ANNNA – “Polyester”
  8. Bad Habits – “Sail With You”
  9. Samanta Tīna – “Still Breathing”

At today’s final, the winner will be selected by solely public vote via SMS, calls and online on the official website of the broadcaster. The voting time will begin right after the last performance and will be closed after 10 minutes.

Although the jury panel won’t have any decision power, its members will provide the viewers with impressions and thoughts about the performances. The experts will be Mārja Merivo-Parro, Gerūta Griniūte, Petri Mannonens and Artis Dvarionas.

The final of Supernova 2020 will be hosted by Ketija Šēnberga, Toms Grēviņš and Beta Beidz (Beāte Bērziņa). You can watch the show from 20.25 CET on our ESCplus Multi-Window live feed.
