Junior Eurovision: Watch 20 seconds of all 12 TV performances

Twenty seconds of all 12 performances as shown on TV have been released for the first round of the public audience vote. As in previous editions, this year’s Junior Eurovision will see worldwide online voting decide half of the final outcome.

Due to the covid-19 pandemic, the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2020 is different from the ones before. With the intention of protecting the singers and all the other people involved, the format had to be adapted. All performances were recorded last month, some in their home country and others –Poland, Malta, Serbia and Ukraine-, on the original stage at the Studio 5 of the TVP in Warsaw.

In order to make sure everyone has the same opportunities, all the songs were recorded at similar stages with some specifications ruled by the EBU and the TVP. The performances have been recorded in false direct so the production must have been prepared during the song so it fits to what a normal Contest would look like.

You can watch a sneak peek of all 12 performances below:

12 countries will take part in this year’s Junior Eurovision Song Contest which will take place on 29th November. Ida Nowakowska, Małgorzata Tomaszewska and Rafał Brzozowski will host the show live from Warsaw.
