Eurovision Eurovision 2024 Sweden

Eurovision: The times the contest was organized in Sweden

Sweden has won the Eurovision Song Contest no less than 7 times, which means that, together with Ireland, Sweden is the country that has won the contest the most in its past 67 editions. Sweden produced the second artist that has won the contest twice, and because of this also the first woman who has won the contest twice, which is of course, Loreen. Ireland’s Johnny Logan is the first contestant ever to have won the competition twice, and the first man to have won twice.

This year’s contest in Malmö (Sweden) marks the seventh time that Sweden is going to host the contest. Sweden’s first win was in 1975 when ABBA won with “Waterloo”, and their most recent win is Loreen’s “Tattoo”.
