All individuals or groups (up to 6) aged between 9 and 14 years willing to take part in the Wales national selection shall send their application by filling the form available on the official website of the broadcaster no later than 3rd June 2018.

When the submission period closes, S4C will hold open auditions around the country to find the best 12 candidates that will take part in the mentoring stage, where they will work with vocal and performance coaches to develop their skills.

The best 6 participants will compete in a live final in which the audience and a professional jury panel will select the first Welsh representative (s) ever in Junior Eurovision. All finalists that reach the live broadcast will need to sing in Welsh.
