Tonight: Switzerland select their 2018 Eurovision entry

Apollo is coming to Zürich tonight!

The Swiss German speaking broadcaster Schweizer Radio und Fernsehen (SRF) in collaboration with the other broadcasters part of the Swiss Broadcasting Corporation (SRG SSR) will select the Swiss entrant at this year’s Eurovision Song Contest tonight.

“Die Entscheidungs Show” (The Decision Show) will see six acts competing for the ticket to perform on the biggest music stage in Europe, take a look at the names and their respective entries below:

  1. Zibbz –  Stones
  2. Angie Ott – A thousand times
  3. Naeman – Kiss me
  4. Chiara Dubey – Secrets and lies
  5. Alejandro Reyes – Compass
  6. Vanessa Irazi – Redlights

The decision will lie in hands of the televoting and an expert panel on a 50% ratio each. Although the names making up the panel are still unknown, Swiss broadcaster already revealed the countries they are coming from: Albania, Armenia, France, Germany, Iceland, Israel and Italy.

You can tune in to watch the show from 20:00 (CET) onwards on our multi-window live-streaming platform. The show will be aired from SRF’s Studio 1 in Zürich and will be presented by Swiss TV well-known host Sven Epiney.

After the submission period closed back in September 2017, Swiss Head Of Delegation Reto Peritz wanted to thank everyone involved on it after collecting 670 entries: “We are very pleased that the interest in the music producers for the ‘Eurovision Song Contest’ in Switzerland is so great and thank you for all contributions”.
