Four finalists remain…which of them will take down the Taboo for Israel?
X Factor Malta comes to an end tonight for the first time ever as the four finalists are ready to take the stage and fight for the ticket that will lead one of them to sign a contract with one of the most prestigious record labels in Italy, Universal Music and eventually representing the country at the Eurovision Song Contest in May.
The four candidates are:
- Petra
- Owen Leuellen
- Michela Pace
- Nicole Frendo
This is actually Malta’s first time deciding their act for the contest through a talent-show format after holding the Malta Eurovision Song Contest or the previous Malta Song For Europe for a few years now. The X Factor Malta, as proved, has differed a bit from the original version created by Simco and Simon Cowell: the artists had to go through the well-known regular auditions, judges’ auditions, the bootcamp, the six chair challenge, the judges houses and the three previous live shows.
The final of the biggest music show nowadays in the island is taking place live from Ta’Qali’s Malta Fairs and Convention Centre (MFCC). The show, presented by Junior Eurovision 2016 co-host Ben Camille, will be streamed live on TVM1 from 21:00 CET, which you can tune in through our multi-window platform.
