Internal selection

Nemo was chosen out of a great bunch of artists by an international professional jury, but also a public jury; the selection happened internally, a way of choosing a new Eurovision artist that Switzerland has been consistently using in the past couple of years. The song that Nemo will sing in the 2024 contest is “The Code”.

About “The Code”

The song that Nemo will sing in the upcoming contest is called “The Code”, and is about the way Nemo had to walk to come to the conclusion that they are non-binary, which means that they feel nor woman nor man, but it can also mean that one feels both woman and man. The song is about cracking “The Code” about becoming who you need to be and who you truly are. Nemo also explained that the song is about “getting closer to yourself”.
