The Dutch song for the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2018 will be selected during the national final as the candidates will perform original tracks at the live show, which will be held on 29 September.
AVROTROS has made a few changes on the national selection process of the new Junior Songfestival format. Unlike the last two years, the song that will represent The Netherlands in the international contest will be selected through a national final. That means the final candidates will perform original songs at the selection show, from different composers as reported on the internet.
Four acts will compete in the final of Junior Songfestival 2018:
- Anna (11)
- Remix (Xanne (14), Roula (13), Mimi (12) & Jazz (13) – What Girls Do
- Anne (14) & Max (13)
- Kiya (13)
The Dutch final will take place on Saturday 29 September in Zutphen’s Hanzehof Theatre at 19.25 CET. Tickets for the show can be purchased on this link.
