Eurovision Eurovision 2024 Sweden

Eurovision: Sweden in the Eurovision Song Contest

This year Sweden’s Loreen won the Eurovision Song Contest, which marks different milestones, since Loreen is the only female vocalist to have won the contest twice, in 2012 (Euphoria) and 2023 (Tattoo). Next to this, she is the second artist to have won the contest twice, Irish Johnny Logan managed to do so in both 1980 (What’s Another Year) and 1987 (Hold Me Now). It also marks Sweden’s seventh Eurovision win (1974, 1984, 1991, 1999, 2012, 2015, and 2023), which means that both Sweden and Ireland top the list with both the same number of wins.
