The second and final semi-final of the Eurovision Song Contest 2025 is now complete, and we finally know the next ten acts that will compete for the coveted crystal microphone in Saturday’s Grand Final.
Held on Thursday, 15 May, at the St. Jakobshalle in Basel, Switzerland, this live show saw 16 countries take to the stage hoping to impress audiences across Europe—and the world. Just ten entries could advance, and tonight, it was once again up to the viewers alone to decide.
Who qualified for the Eurovision 2025 Grand Final from Semi-Final 2?
These are the ten countries that won over the public and secured their place in Saturday’s show (announced in random order):
- Latvia – Tautumeitas with “Bur Man Laimi”
- Armenia – PARG with “SURVIVOR”
- Austria – JJ with “Wasted Love”
- Greece – Klavdia with “Asteromáta”
- Lithuania – Katarsis with “Tavo Akys”
- Malta – Miriana Conte with “SERVING”
- Denmark – Sissal with “Hallucination”
- Luxembourg – Laura Thorn with “La Poupée Monte Le Son”
- Israel
- Finland – Erika Vikman with “ICH KOMME”
And who missed out?
These countries didn’t make the cut tonight:
- Australia – Go-Jo with “Milkshake Man”
- Montenegro – Nina Žižić with “Dobrodošli”
- Ireland – EMMY with “Laika Party”
- Georgia – Mariam Shengelia with “Freedom”
- Czechia – Adonxs with “Kiss Kiss Goodbye”
- Serbia – Princ with “Mila”
A night driven entirely by the audience
As in recent years, the semi-final results were determined by 100% public vote. Audiences from the 16 competing countries, as well as from France, Germany, and the United Kingdom (who vote despite already being in the Grand Final), had their say.
International fans could also take part via the official platform www.esc.vote, with votes collected from outside Europe contributing as a single bloc — “Rest of the World”.
Once again, the exact rankings and voting details remain a mystery until after the Grand Final on Saturday, 17 May, when the European Broadcasting Union (EBU) will release the full breakdown.
