The Department for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport is spending £10 million (€11.2 million) to fund hosting Eurovision Song Contest 2023 in Liverpool, United Kingdom. This amount will be used for several fields that are necessary to host the biggest music festival of the world, like: Security, visa arrangements, and other operational aspects of the contest.
Liverpool City Council and the BBC
The amount of money of the British Government will also be used by the Liverpool City Council and the BBC; both are part of the organization of this year’s contest, and will work together with artists and acts from Ukraine and the United Kingdom, since this year’s contest is a joint venture.
