Singer Käärijä has won the Finnish national final, also known as “Uuden Musikiin Kilpailu 2023 (UMK 2023)”, and by doing so he has earned to represent Finland in the Eurovision Song Contest 2023 in Liverpool, United Kingdom. The song that Käärijä will perform is “Cha Cha Cha”.
UMK 2023
The national Grand Final of Finland took place in the city of Turku, and was hosted by Samu Haber. Next to the 7 acts that were competing to become Finland’s next representative, there were also other acts that performed, among them were: The Rasmus and BESS.
The final result was decided by international juries (25%) and by public televoting (75%).

Eurovision 2023
Finland’s Käärijä will perform in the second half of the first Semi-final on May 9th 2023.
The Eurovision Song Contest 2023 will take place on May 9th, 11th, and 13th 2023 in Liverpool, United Kingdom. 37 countries will compete for the crown. This year’s Eurovision Song Contest will be a joint venture, since last year’s winner Ukraine cannot organize the contest on home soil because of the ongoing war with Russia.
