The evolution of Chefsache ESC
Chefsache ESC 2025 was developed as a strategic collaboration between NDR (Germany’s public broadcaster) and RTL Deutschland. The selection process, masterminded by Stefan Raab, aimed to elevate Germany’s chances at Eurovision. The format’s continuation as Germany’s national final depends on its success at Eurovision 2025.
A panel of experts, including Stefan Raab, Yvonne Catterfeld, and guest judges like Conchita Wurst and Nico Santos, played a crucial role in shaping the final lineup.
Who are Abor & Tynna? Meet Germany’s Eurovision 2025 representatives
The sibling duo comes from a family of musicians in Vienna. Their father, a cellist for the Vienna Philharmonic, introduced them to classical instruments from an early age. In 2016, they started writing their own songs and have since performed in Vienna, Berlin, and Hannover.
In 2024, they were the opening act for Nina Chuba’s tour. Their music blends pop, hip-hop, and electronic beats, with catchy lyrics reflecting their personal experiences.
Germany hopes to continue the positive momentum from Eurovision 2024, where Isaak finished 12th with “Always On The Run,” achieving the country’s best result since 2018. Will Abor & Tynna bring Germany back to the top? Stay tuned!
