Latvia: LTV launches Supernova 2016, submissions open!

After a successful 6th place in Vienna, LTV has revealed the will be using “Supernova” again to select entrant for Eurovision 2016!

The Latvian broadcaster has also open submissions for next year’s national selection. All composers and artists are invited to submit their original songs before the 1st of November through the official website.

LTV has also revealed some details regarding the next edition of “Supernova”. National and international experts will be in charge of selecting the 20 acts that will compete in the live shows. The list of competing artists will be revealed at the beginning of December.

The last two weeks of January, LTV will broadcast highlights of the artists preparations with the live shows being live aired all Sundays of February.

Aminata Sabadogo represented Latvia at Eurovision 2015 with the song “Love Injected”. The Baltic country reached the final after six unsuccessful years, they achieved a 6th place at the Grand Final:
