Fresh off the controversy which involved the display of Palestinian flags during the Tel Aviv voting portion of Eurovision 2019 which allegedly lead to El Al airport agents assigning Einar, Clemens and Matthias the worst seats on their outbound flight – Hatari are back with a new song and video.
In this release, the band team up with Bashar Murad who is from Palestine and an openly queer pop star.
Perhaps even just as symbolic as the collaboration itself, is that HATARI used the time they had in Tel Aviv to get over to Palestine to film this video with Bashar.
But Hatari are not only seeking to drop another Spotify hit here – they are passionate about their causes and have also filmed a very interesting short documentary exploring the complex issues related to Palenstine:
