Eurovision 2025 held its second semi-final this Tuesday, in which we found out the last 10 finalists who join the group of artists that secured their spot last Tuesday, along with the pre-qualified countries formed by the BIG 5 + host country. We now know the 26 countries that will take part in the Grand Final this Saturday, May 17.
The show began at 21:00 CEST and lasted for 2 hours and 30 minutes. Once again, the pace was somewhat slow, but the show offered a great musical variety. We also enjoyed performances by, among others, Sandra Studer — the host and former Eurovision participant in 1990 — who performed a version of “Insieme”, as well as the return of some of the Eurovision 2020 participants, who paid tribute to that cancelled edition as part of the night’s interval acts. Some of the big favorites of Eurovision 2025 performed in this second semi-final, including JJ representing Austria, Erika Vikman for Finland, and Louane for France.
