What was revealed about Olly Alexander’s song?

Not a whole lot was revealed about Olly Alexander’s song just yet, but we do know that the song is already complete and ready to go. Olly himself said about the matter on the BBC Radio 1 Breakfast Show: “The song is finally, finally, finally finished!” Unfortunately he did not reveal the release date of his Eurovision entry, he did say: “Soon!”

Olly Alexander also disclosed the following:

“So I wrote the song with Danny L Harle, who’s a wonderful producer and he’s amazing – we’ve wanted to do this, we both love Eurovision, we’ve wanted to take a song to Eurovision for about a year or so since we’ve been working together.”

About his upcoming Eurovision adventure Olly said the following:

“I have wanted to do it for a long, long time, since I was a kid. I almost did it a couple of years back but it didn’t work out – I didn’t have the right song – but this time it feels like the right time.”

Who is Danny L Harle?

Danny L Harle is the man of the hour when it comes down to producers and songwriters. His most recent success is the single “Houdini” by Dua Lipa. He is also known for working on music in the hyper-pop scene. Two of the biggest bookmaker agencies see the United Kingdom as the one to beat this year. Nothing is carved into stone just yet, since it is still early days when it comes down to the announcement of entrants in the upcoming contest.

Olly Alexander is both a solo artist, but he is also the lead singer of the successful UK band, “Years & Years”, widely known for their hit single “King”.
