Estonia has chosen its representative for Eurovision 2025! After an electrifying final, Tommy Cash emerged victorious at Eesti Laul 2025 with his song “Espresso Macchiato”, securing his place on the Eurovision stage in Basel, Switzerland this May.
Eesti Laul 2025: The Road to Victory
The journey to Estonia’s national selection was a thrilling one. 175 songs were submitted, with 20 entries competing in a second-chance round before narrowing down to 16 finalists. After intense performances and a competitive superfinal, Tommy Cash claimed the title, solidifying his position as the fan-favorite of the night.
The Eesti Laul 2025 Grand Final
The grand final took place at Unibet Arena in Tallinn, kicking off at 18:15 (EET). The show was hosted by Eda-Ines Etti, Estonia’s Eurovision 2000 representative, and Karl ‘Korea’ Kivastik, a member of 5MIINUST, Estonia’s 2024 Eurovision act.
Karl also played a double role in the evening, opening the final alongside Florian Wahl, one of Estonia’s most celebrated artists, recently awarded Male Artist of the Year and Alternative Album of the Year.
The night featured special guest performances, including Lauri Saatpalu, a renowned Estonian singer, producer, and actor, who took the stage with the folk band Dagö while the audience cast their votes.
Eesti Laul 2025 Voting Results
The winner was decided using the traditional Eesti Laul voting system. The jury and televote each contributed 50% of the total score in the first round, selecting three finalists for the superfinal, where the winner was determined solely by the public.

Estonia at Eurovision
At Eurovision 2024 in Malmö, Estonia was represented by 5MIINUST x Puuluup with “(Nendest) Narkootikumidest Ei Tea Me (Küll) Midagi”. The band reached the grand final, finishing in 20th place with 37 points.
