Interesting result facts

Smash Into Pieces are the first band since Barbados in 2003 to reach the final twice. However, several groups have reached the final several times but not more than once.

• The qualification of Smash Into Pieces means that songwriter Jimmy “Joker” Thörnfeldt has now reached the final – directly or via qualifiers – with nine entries in a row, which is a new Melodifestivalen record.

• With her four final places, Lisa Ajax is now sharing the fifth place on the list of the most final places in the modern Melodifestivalen (2002–), and she is the one to have reached the fourth final at the second youngest age, after Sanna Nielsen in 2008, who was 23 years old at the time.

Next week, the journey continues on the 10th of February live from Gothenburg, where another 6 acts will compete for the golden tickets.
