Spain 2023: How the artists have been divided over the Semi-finals

The Spanish national broadcaster, RTVE, has announced how the artists have been divided over the two Semi-finals of Benidorm Fest 2023.

Divide over the Semi-finals

During a press conference RTVE has announced the divide of the contestants over the two Semi-finals of Benidorm Fest 2023. The whole running order will be announced the week before this national final. Below you can find the split over the Semi-finals.

Semi-final 1: January 29th 2023

  • Agoney: Quiero arder
  • Alice Wonder: Yo quisiera
  • Aritz Arén: Flamenco
  • Fusa Nocta: Mi familia
  • Megara: Arcadia
  • Meler: No nos moverán
  • Sharonne: Aire
  • Sofía Martín: Tuki
  • Twin Melody: Sayonara

Semi-final 2: January 30th 2023

Benidorm Fest 2023

More information about Benidorm Fest 2023:

  • A total of 18 artists will take the stage in the hope of becoming Spain’s next representative.
  • There will be 2 Semi-finals (on January 31st and February 2nd 2023), and 1 Grand Final (February 4th 2023).
  • In the Grand Final 8 acts will perform.
  • The Spanish national broadcaster will also select six extra entries, in case one or more entries will withdraw.
  • The jury of Benidorm Fest 2023 will consist of a professional jury (50%), demoscopic jury (25%), and public televoting (25%).
  • The presentation of the shows will be by Monica Naranjó, Inés Hernand, and Rodrigo Vázquez.
  • The Spanish national final will take place in Palau Municipal d’Esports l’Illa de Benidorm.

Eurovision 2022

In the Eurovision Song Contest of 2022 Spain was represented by Chanel with the song “SloMo”. Spain is one of the Big Five countries, which means that this country does not have to compete in the Semi-finals of the contest. In the Grand Final Spain ended in 3rd position on the scoreboard.
