This afternoon the Finnish band Softengine, which represented their country at the Eurovision Song Contest 2014, have announced that their debut album will be released on 16th of the next month. The album includes eleven songs and after launching it the band will start a new tour. The guys also have announced a sad new. Eero, the bass guitarist of the group, is leaving Softengine due to academic reasons as he decided to concentrate on his career as a lightning technician.
The band took part in the Eurovision Song Contest with the song ”Something Better” placing 11st in the grand final, the best coutry’s result since its victory in 2006 with Lordi and ”Hard Rock Hallelujah”.
