Saara Aalto (UMK 2016) confirmed for The X Factor UK Tour 2017

Saara Aalto is currently taking part in the 13th series of British talent show The X Factor and she is now through to the final 7 acts. She has been bottom 2 in the competition 3 times already, but last night she sang for her life again with Jessie J’s “Who We Are”.

For many years now, after the conclusion of the show, a number of acts get the chance to tour around the UK, on The X Factor Tour and it has been announced that Saara Aalto will be on the tour next year.

The official press release from The X Factor said:

“The Final eight acts that remain in this year’s The X Factor will embark on a nationwide arena tour as they take to the road on The X Factor Live Tour 2017.”

Saara will be joined by 5 After Midnight, Emily Middlemass, Four Of Diamonds, Matt Terry, Ryan Lawrie, Sam Lavery and Honey G.  The tour will kick off on 23rd February 2017 and will travel to;

  • Nottingham (February 23rd)
  • Birmingham (February 24th)
  • London (February 25th)
  • Liverpool (February 26th)
  • Aberdeen (February 28th)
  • Glasgow (March 1st)
  • Sheffield (March 3rd)
  • Manchester (March 4th)
  • Bournemouth (March 6th)
  • Cardiff (March 8th)
  • Newcastle (March 10th)
  • Leeds (March 11th)
  • Belfast (March 13th)
  • Dublin (March 14th)
  • Brighton (March 16th)

The acts will perform class hits and viewers’ favourites from the TV series this year. The X Factor tour has, to date, been attended by more than 3 million people, and has been one of the most successful annual arena tours in the UK for the last 12 years.

You may remember Saara Aalto from Finnish Eurovision selection UMK in 2016 where she placed 2nd with her song No Fear“. This was the second time which she came 2nd in the selection process for Finland – back in 2011 she took part in show Euroviisut where she came 2nd in the Super final behind the winner Paradise Oskar “Da Da Dam”. Saara’s song was “Blessed With Love”
