Portugal: Line-up for Festival da Canção 2020 final complete

RTP has just broadcast the second semifinal of this year’s Festival da Canção. 4 acts have gone through to the final, so the line-up for the final on March 7th is complete.

Today the Portuguese audience has seen the last semifinal of their traditional song festival happen with 8 candidates competing for one of the remaining spots in the national final:

  1. Dubio feat. +351 – Cegueira
  2. Luiz Caracol e Gus Liberdade – Dói-me o País (António Avelar Pinho)
  3. Judas – Cubismo Enviesado (Hélio Morais)
  4. Kady – Diz Só (Dino D’Santiago)
  5. Elisa Rodrigues – Não voltes mais
  6. Cláudio Frank – Quero-te Abraçar 
  7. Tomás Luzia – Mais Real Que o Amor (Pedro Jóia)
  8. Jimmy P – Abensonhado

At the end of the show, an equal combination of the votes from a professional jury panel and the audience has determined the last 4 finalists of Festival da Canção 2020:

  • Jimmy P. – ‘Abensonhado ‘
  • Tomás Luzía – ‘Mais real que o amor’
  • Kady – ‘Diz só’
  • Elisa Rodrigues – ‘Não volte mais’

The line-up for the final is as it follows:

  • Filipe Sambado – Gerbera Amarela do Sul
  • Bárbara Tinoco – Passe-Partout (Tiago Nacarato)
  • Elisa – Medo de Sentir (Marta Carvalho)
  • Throes + The Shine – Moviment
  • Jimmy P. – Abensonhado
  • Tomás Luzía – Mais real que o amor
  • Kady – Diz só
  • Elisa Rodrigues – Não volte mais

Next week, the Portuguese national selection will conclude live from the town of Elvas, located in the south-east of the country. Filomena Cautela and Vasco Palmeirim will host the show, where the winner will be determined by seven regional panels of judges alongside the Portuguese televoters.
