A new addition to the Eurovision pre-party circuit is set to launch this spring: the MancHagen Eurovision Festival (MEF2025). Taking place from April 10-12, 2025, the event promises to combine live performances, cultural festivities, and fan-focused activities in the heart of Manchester.
Building on the legacy of the MalmöHagen Scandinavian Pre-Party, MEF2025 aims to bring together Eurovision fans from around the world. The festival will feature live music across multiple venues, including Manchester’s Canal Street, which will transform into a EuroVillage and Eurovision Street for the occasion.
A Packed Lineup for Eurovision Fans
The festival lineup boasts an impressive roster of Eurovision talent. Irish legends Linda Martin (Eurovision 1992 winner) and Niamh Kavanagh (Eurovision 1993 winner) will headline the event, alongside a 25th anniversary performance by Nicki French (UK, Eurovision 2000). Lindsay Dracass (UK, Eurovision 2001) will host the opening night’s concert.
Returning artists from MalmöHagen 2024 include Lithuania’s Silvester Belt, Sweden’s Melanie Wehbe, and Turkey’s Onur Beyond Oz. New faces include Justs from Latvia (competing in Eurovision 2025), Piqued Jacks (Italy/San Marino), and Norway’s Keiino (Eurovision 2019 televote winners).
Not Just Concerts
MEF2025 isn’t limited to live music. Fans will have the chance to attend meet-and-greet sessions with artists during the MancHagen Yellow Carpet Parade. DJs from across Europe will perform at late-night EuroClub events, with Depot Mayfield hosting a EuroWarehouse Rave to close out the festival.
What Makes MEF2025 Unique
Unlike other pre-parties, MancHagen combines music with cultural activities and a strong focus on inclusivity. Organizers aim to create a welcoming space for fans of all backgrounds, with accessible venues and companion tickets for attendees who need additional support.
An International Celebration
With partnerships including Ukraine’s United for You cultural organization and Scandinavian collaborators, MEF2025 highlights the Eurovision values of unity and diversity. As part of its charitable mission, the festival will raise funds for causes such as Manchester Prideand United By You (Ukraine).
