Eurovision Eurovision 2020

Live: Second Semi-Final of #Eurostream2020 tonight

Eurostream 2020 continues with the second semifinal in which 18 participants will compete, just as they would have done in Eurovision, to get a place in the final this coming Saturday.

Due to the cancellation of this year’s Eurovision Song Contest after the covid-19 crisis, some of the large Eurovision news websites have joined forces to organize the first edition of EuroStream.

Tonight at 21.00h CET the second semi-final of EuroStream 2020 will take place, in which, as in Eurovision, a professional jury and public voting will select the 10 participating countries that will get a place in the Grand Final this coming Saturday.

From now until the closing of voting at the end of today’s 18 performances, you can cast your votes at eurostream2020.com/vote. Anyone from anywhere in the world is invited to vote in a minimum of three and a maximum of five different countries. All the votes will be added and weighted to obtain half of the final result, together with the scores of the national juries, which represent the other half. People who vote can share their votes on social networks with the hashtag #Eurostream2020.

The Czech Republic will be the country in charge of opening the second semi-final while Latvia will be in charge of closing the show as determined in the draw held on April 28.

Erik Nelson, Samantha Ross, Derek Sillerud and DannyKristian Vopava will be in charge of presenting this second semi-final for the whole world, while Gunther Ooms and Joël Braem will announce the 10 classified participants for tonight, which will be announced in random order, without revealing the final results before Saturday. Unlike Eurovision, the running order of the qualifiers for the grand final will be announced during the show where a live draw will take place.

Simultaneously with the international broadcast, ESCplus will carry out a live broadcast with comments in Spanish presented by Iván Trejo, Hugo Carabaña and Adrián Valiente that you can follow on our multi-window platform live.esc-plus.com as well as on our Yotutube channel and on the Twitter of our colleagues from the Eurovision Daily podcast starting at 20:50 H: CET.

Remember to follow the show together with our handbook so you don’t miss any detail.
