Eurovision Eurovision 2020

Live: Grand Final of #Eurostream2020 to be held tonight

After the celebration of the two semifinals, the final broadcast of EuroStream 2020 Grand Final has arrived, in which 26 countries will compete, just as they would in Eurovision, to proclaim themselves winners of this first edition.

Due to the cancellation of this year’s Eurovision Song Contest after the covid-19 crisis, some of the large Eurovision news websites have joined forces to organize the first edition of EuroStream.

Tonight at 21.00 CET the EuroStream 2020 Grand Final will take place, in which, as in Eurovision, a professional jury and the public vote will select the winner of the night.

From now until the voting closes at the end of today’s 26 performances, you can cast your votes at eurostream2020.com/vote. Anyone from anywhere in the world is invited to vote for a minimum of three and a maximum of five different countries. All the votes will be added and weighted to obtain half of the final result, together with the scores of the national juries, which represent the other half. People who vote can share their votes on social networks with the hashtag #Eurostream2020.

Switzerland will be the country in charge of opening the Grand Final while Azerbaijan will be in charge of closing the lineup as determined in the draw held last Thursday. The running order of the Grand Final was thus determined.

Gunther Ooms, Joël Braem and Lisa-Jayne Lewis will be in charge of presenting Eurostream 2020 Grand Final for everyone, while Jonathan Hendrickx will announce the results of the jury voting of the 41 participating countries and the online voting.

Simultaneously with the international broadcast, ESCplus will carry out a live broadcast with comments in Spanish presented by Iván Trejo, Hugo Carabaña and Adrián Valiente that you can follow on our multi-window platform live.esc-plus.com as well as on our Yotutube channel and on the Twitter of our colleagues from the Eurovision Daily podcast starting at 20:30h CET.

Remember to follow the show together with our handbook so you don’t miss any detail.
