Lithuania: Results of the second “Eurovizijos 2016” show!

The broadcasting of the second Lithuanian show has just taken place and the results are out!

A total of eight participants performed their songs at the second show recording with the jury panel, made up of Darius Užkuraitis, Nomeda Kazlaus and last year’s Lithuanian representative in Eurovision – Vaidas Baumila, giving their votes from 3 to 12 (Eurovision Style):

1. Jurgis Bruzga “GoOne” – 8 points
2. Ugne Smile “You Don’t Know” – 4 points
3. Lawreigna “Falling” – 5 points
4. Istvan & Ellada “Please Don’t Cry” – 7 points
5. Catrinah “Be Free” – 10 points
6. Egle Jakstyte “Leisk Dar Buti” – 6 points
7. Valdas Lacko “Stay Tonight” – 3 points
8. Ruta Sciogolevaite “United” – 12 points

Today, these points have been mixed with the ones from the international jury (Peter Freudenthal, Syron, Karl Friersonas) and tonight’s SMS voting. As a result, the top five contestants and songs have qualified for the next round:

• Ruta Sciogolevaite “United”
• Istvan & Ellada “Please Don’t Cry”
• Catrinah “Be Free”
• Valdas Lacko “Stay Tonight”
• Egle Jakstyte “Leisk Dar Buti”

This year’s Lithuanian selection is hosted by Gerūta Griniūtė and d’Andrius Rožickas.
