Listen to the Moldovan songs

TRMD has published the 36 songs that will compete to represent Moldova at the Eurovision Song Contest 2020. The candidates will take part in live auditions where a professional jury panel and the organising committee will decide whether a national final will be held.

A few weeks ago, the Moldovan broadcaster opened a call for songs and artists for a national selection. A total of 36 entries were submitted:

Diana Popa – Believe me

Danny Cruise – My love

Olea Roşu – Alive

Catarina Sandu – Die for you

Ray Barc – I’m shy

Tudor Bumbac – Te-am vazut în vis pe tine

Georgeta Burlacu – Răspunde!

Sasha Bognibov – Big brother

Katerina S – We are done

Sasha Letty – Summer of love

Among the Moldovan participants, we can find some familiar names, former national selection performers and past national representatives, like Pasha Parfeny, who waved his country’s flag at Eurovision 2012, or Natalia Gordienko, the 2006 entrant along with Arsenium. Also, the Junior Eurovision 2012 representative Denis Midone is now trying his luck at the adult contest.

The 36 candidates will take part in live auditions, which will be followed closely by a professional jury panel, who, along with the organising committee will decide whether a national final will be held.
