Latvia 2024: The running order of the national final

On February 7th the running order of the Latvian national final, Supernova 2024, was released by the Latvian national broadcaster, LTV. This year’s Supernova sees 10 acts battle it out for the crown, and to represent their country in the Eurovision Song Contest 2024 in Malmö (Sweden).

It was also revealed that last year’s Estonian contestant, Alika, will perform as an interval act.

What is the set-up of Supernova 2024?

The set-up of Supernova 2024 is the following: The grand final of Supernova 2024 will take place on February 10th 2024. The eventual winner will be chosen by a professional jury and public votes. The voting starts at the beginning of the show, and voting will be unlimited; the difference is that a vote per phone will count as one, and a vote by text message counts for ten votes. The professional jury members will be revealed after the Eurovision Song Contest of 2024.

Which act represented Latvia in the contest of 2023?

The act that represented Latvia in the contest of 2023 was Sudden Lights with the song “Aijā”. Unfortunately Sudden Lights was not in the 2023 Grand Final by just a couple of points, as they ended in 11th place (of 15).
