Junior Eurovision: Roksana Węgiel to wave the Polish flag in Minsk!

TVP has just revealed that Roksana Węgiel will represent Poland at the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2018. The 13-years old singer, who is the first ever winner of The Voice Kids in her country, has been selected internally.

This is the first time TVP has selected their Junior Eurovision representative behind closed doors as both Olivia Wieczorek and Alicja Rega won the right to represent Poland at a national final show. The low results of both entries apparently led the Polish broadcaster to change their selection method.

Roksana Węgiel rose to fame at the first edition of The Voice Kids in Poland that she won back in February. At the show, she was coached by Edyta Górniak, who represented Poland at Eurovision 1994. Roksana has recently released her single Obiecuję:

Winning The Voice Kids was an honour and a dream come true, but representing my country at Junior Eurovision is an actual honour. Dreaming and fighting for your dreams is worthy. Thanks for believing in me!, she said.

What do you think about the Polish choice for Junior Eurovision 2018? Would you like to see Roksana performing ‘Obiecuję’ in Minsk?
