Junior Eurovision: Poland launches search for 2017 spokesperson

TVP has launched an open competition to select who will reveal the results of the Polish jury panel at the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2017. This confirms that the junior spokespersons will reveal the decision of this year’s senior jury panel from each participating country.

How to be the Polish spokesperson:

  • You need to be under 16 years old on the day of the contest, November 26th.
  • Your presence in Tbilisi will be required from November 24th to 26th.

Ok, if you meet these two requeriments you are half of the way. All you need to do is record 1-minute video of yourself talking about anything related to Junior Eurovision in English. Send us the video through private message to the official Facebook Page of TVP Eurowizja and wait for a reply.

New voting method for 2017:

The new voting method will have two different rounds. In the first one, the audience will be able to vote from Friday (24/11) until Sunday (26/11) at 15.59 CET. They will be required to watch a recap of the songs taking part before entering the voting platform that will be available on the JESC official website. After watching the recap, voters will also have the option to watch 1-minute clips from each participant’s rehearsal.

This first round of voting will be closed when the show starts, at 18.00 CET on November 26th. After the last performance, the voting will be open again for 15 min. A combination of both rounds of voting will decide 50% of the final outcome, while the other half will be decided by a professional jury panel from each country.
