KiKA has published the list of finalists that will take part at the last stage of the German national selection for the Junior Eurovision Song Contest. The final 5 have been selected from the castings that took place a few days ago.
The German competition to select their debut entry is coming close to an end. 70 candidates have taken part in the selection process from which a professional expert panel has chosen the performers that will fight for the big prize in the final auditions:
- Davit (12 years)
- Leroy Kay (13 years)
- Linnea May (13 years)
- Malaika (14 years)
- Susan (13 years)

A professional expert panel will select the winner of the selection process, who will become the very first German representative at the Junior Eurovision Song Contest. The lucky performer will sing a song composed by the winner of the last year’s edition of ‘Dein Song’ Levent Geiger.
The jury panel for the final is as follows:
- Martin Haas (Music producer)
- Michele Huesmann (Show and vocal coach)
- Max Mutzke (Eurovision Song Contest 2004 representative)
- Levent Geiger (Composer of the German entry for JESC 2020 and winner of ‘Dein Song’ 2019).
