Junior Eurovision: France Télévisions is looking for volunteers!

Preparations for Junior Eurovision 2021 are underway and France TV is now looking for volunteers to assist the organizers and members from the participants delegations. If you want to join, take a look at this article to know everything and remember that you can send your applications by clicking on this link (official France TV Website).

As ESCplus has known, the candidate selection is being managed by different subcontracted organizations, which are in charge of finding the various profiles required for the occasion. Of course, the Covid vaccination passport will be a mandatory requirement to be part of the volunteer team.

Those interested must be fully available between December 11 and 20, from 8AM in the morning to 8PM in the afternoon. In addition, they must prove bilingual linguistic competence in English and French, although trilingual people knowing the languages from the participating countries are also needed, who will be in charge of accompanying the respective delegations.

The applicants selected will have to pay for their own accommodation but meals are covered for free by the organizers. As usual, registration is completely voluntary, being aware that their work will not receive any remuneration and their only purpose should be to enrich their own CV through being part of a large event of such characteristics.

However, France Télévisions intends to award a small convention to all volunteers, without specifying whether it will be a financial incentive or not. Among the tasks of the volunteers, they should receive the delegations from their arrival at the airport and they will be always with them, accompanying and guiding them on their way to the venue, stage and the hotel, which will be located in Boulogne-Billancourt, west of Paris. On the day of the contest and rehearsals, they will also accompany them at all times and they will have a space provided for each delegation behind the stage.

Those chosen must attend a telephone interview of preparation that will take place between December 6 and 12, 2021. While on Saturday, December 11, all volunteers must attend a joint informational meeting.

About JUNIOR Eurovision 2021

The 19th Junior Eurovision Song Contest will take place on Sunday 19 December at the La Seine Musicale – a spectacular concert hall located on Île Seguin (Seguin Island) on the Seine river.

The venue is one of the most impressive and beautiful in all of Europe, and since opening in 2017 it has fast become an iconic cultural facility aiming to bring all music to all audiences.

This edition will be characterized by once again counting among its participants with a greater number of countries in competition, being a total of 19

The slogan of the contest is ‘Imagine’. A simple and effective slogan, chosen for several reasons. First of all, for the echoes of Valentina’s song that won the Junior Eurovision Song Contest in Warsaw in 2020.
