Next year’s Festival di Sanremo will have 30 entrants and on December 19th 2023 the Italian national broadcaster, RAI, has announced what the names of the songs will be that will be featured in this Italian national selection. The winner of this Italian music contest will be asked to represent Italy in the Eurovision Song Contest 2024 in Malmö (Sweden).

Yes, the Festival di Sanremo 2024 has a great many returning Eurovision artists next year, like Emma Marrone who represented Italy in the contest of 2014 with the song “La Mia Città” (ending in 21th of 26), but there is also Diodato who was set to represent Italy in the cancelled contest of 2020 with the song “Fai rumore”.
