According to the Israeli newspaper Yediouth Achronoth, “The Next Start” (HaKokhav HaBa) reality show will be the national selection for Eurovision 2015.
After some declined proposals made by IBA, they would have finally decided the winner of the reality show represents Israel in Vienna. IBA will run the same selection procedure the used back in 2008, when the winner of “The Next Star” (HaKokhav HaBa) Boaz represented Israel at Eurovision in Belgrade. Boaz came seventh at Eurovision with his song “The Fire In Your Eyes” so, IBA has many hopes on this procedure once again.
On the other hand, Yona Viezental from IBA is trying to reach an agreement with the Israeli Channel 2 (where “The Next Start” is broadcasted) and,as soon as,they sign the papers IBA will apply so as to submit the Israeli entrant.
