Tonight the first Semi-final of Söngvakeppnin 2022 was was held in the Icelandic capital Reykjavik. 5 acts performed and 2 were chosen to proceed to the Grand Final. Next week another 5 acts will perform of which 2 are chosen to go to the Grand Final. On the 12th of March 2022 the 4 qualifiers out of the Semi-finals will battle it out against each other, plus 1 wild card chosen by a special jury.

Eurovision Song Contest 2022
This year’s Eurovision Song Contest will take place on May 10th (Semi-final 1), 12th (Semi-final 2), and on the 14th (Grand Final) in Turin, Italy.
