Eurovision outlet, EurovisionFun, wrote lately that the Greek 2023 entry of Victor Vernicos, “What They Say”, will be released on March 6th 2023. How the entry will be revealed is unknown yet.

About Victor Vernicos

Victor Vernicos was internally selected by different Greek selection commissions. The 16-year old Victor was proposed by PANIK Records to represent Greece. Victor is half Danish and half-Greek. He is already on stage since the age of four, and he released his first single when he was only 14 years of age. Victor Vernicos is the youngest person to have ever represented Greece in the Eurovision Song Contest.

Legal steps against Greek national broadcaster

There have been legal steps against the Greek national broadcaster, ERT, because of multiple things that “supposedly” went wrong during the internal selection process of the 2023 representant. The legal actions are taken by another internal hopeful, Melissa Mantzoukis and her legal team. Read more about the matter by clicking here.

The Eurovision Song Contest 2023 will take place on May 9th, 11th, and 13th 2023 in Liverpool, United Kingdom. 37 countries will compete for the crown. This year’s Eurovision Song Contest will be a joint venture, since last year’s winner Ukraine cannot organize the contest on home soil because of the ongoing war with Russia.
