Georgia 2023: Entrant Iru Khechanovi is making final touch to her entry

On social media Georgian 2023 entrant, Iru Khechanovi, has stated that she is making “final touches” to her Eurovision entry that we do not know the name of yet.

The upcoming Georgian Eurovision entrant, Iru Khechanovi, has posted on her social media that her song is in the last stages of development. She has worked hard in the studio to complete her song for the Eurovision Song Contest 2023 in Liverpool, United Kingdom.

Iru won The Voice of Georgia and by doing so she earned the right to go to this year’s Eurovision Song Contest. Previously Iru has represented Georgia in Junior Eurovision, which she won in 2011, as a part of the group Candy Music.

About the Georgian entry

The 2023 Georgian entry of Iru Khechanovi is written bij Giga Kukhiadnidze, known for his three winning Junior Eurovision Song Contest songs. No music genre of the song has been released yet.

Georgia’s Iru Khechanovi will perform in the second half of the second Semi-final on May 11th 2023.

The Eurovision Song Contest 2023 will take place on May 9th, 11th, and 13th 2023 in Liverpool, United Kingdom. 37 countries will compete for the crown. This year’s Eurovision Song Contest will be a joint venture, since last year’s winner Ukraine cannot organize the contest on home soil because of the ongoing war with Russia.
