After an earlier sneak peek of the Australian entry for Eurovision 2016, we can now listen to the full song a day before expected!
“Sound of Silence” has been leaked via itemvn.eu and you can listen to it below:
Dami Im was internally chosen by SBS to wave the Australian flag in Stockholm. This year, the Oceanic country will compete in the second Semi-Final and must get enough votes to get through to the Grand Final of Eurovision. The official artist announcement took place a week from the Sydney’s Opera House, where Dami Im was performing a cover version of the Eurovision 1974 winning entry “Warerloo” by ABBA.
The official song presentation will take place tomorrow at 9.30 CET on SBS2’s show The Feed. A teaser of the video, to be released later tomorrow, is already published and can be watched below:
Born in South Korea, Dami moved to Logan Valley, Brisbane, with her family when she was 9. In 2013 Dami stepped into the spotlight from nowhere, taking out the X Factor crown and winning the hearts of over 3 million Australians with her astonishing voice and transformation into a fully-fledged pop diva. Since then, Dami has earned #1 chart positions and multi-platinum sales for the likes of her self-titled debut album and hit singles Alive, Super Love and Gladiator.
What do you think about the Australian song for Eurovision 2016?
What is THIS?? Really disappointment.
I was expecting to hear from her a far better song.
Its a fine song but its not really good.
