Destination Eurovision is set to debut on the 12th of January at 21:00 CET and today France2 has announced via twitter the contestants participating in the first semi-final. These will be:
Semi-final 1, 12th of January:
- Mazy – Oulala
- Florina – In the shadow
- Bilal Hassani – Roi
- Lautner – J’ai pas le temps
- Naestro – Le brasier
- Aysat – Comme une grande
- Chimène Badi – Là Haut
- Silvàn Areg – Le petit Nicolas
- Battista Acquaviva – Pasio
The remaining nine acts will compete in semi-final 2 on January 19th
- Noémie – Ma petite famille
- Ugo – Ce qui me blesse
- Gabriella – On cherche encore (Never get enough)
- Doutson – Sois un bon fils
- Seemone – Tous les deux
- The Divaz – La voix d’Aretha
- Emmanuel Moire – La promesse
- PhilipElise – Madame la paix
- Tracy De Sà – Por aquí
At the semifinals, 4 acts will go through to the final after a 50-50 combination of public audience vote and the voting of an international jury panel, made up of judges from 20 countries. The same procedure will apply to select the overall winner on the final night. Experts Vitaa, André Manoukian and Christophe Willem will analyze and share their feelings about the entries in the running but will not vote.
