The First Semi-Final of the Romanian national selection has just finished with the first three candidates going through to the Grand Final. Today Selecţia Naţională has been broadcast live from Focșani.
Twelve candidates competed at the show:
- Alex Florea: ‘Nobody Told Me It Would Hurt’
- Lina: ‘A Love Worth Falling For’
- CornEL: ‘Take Me Away’
- Liviu Anghel: ‘Rise Up’
- Hellen: ‘From Underneath’
- Alexia & Matei: ‘Walking on Water’
- Johnny Bădulescu: ‘Devoted’
- Waleska: ‘Renacer’
- Echoes: ‘Mirror’
- Elena Turcu: ‘The Perfect Fall’
- Eduard Santha: ‘Mesom Romales’
- Tom Hartis: ‘Teardrop Rain’
After the voting of a professional jury panel, made up of Ilinca, Viorel Gavrilă, Marian Ionescu, Nicu Patoi and Liliana Ştefan, the following three entries advanced to the Grand Final:
- Eduard Santha: ‘Mesom Romales’
- Echoes: ‘Mirror’
- Alexia & Matei: ‘Walking on Water’
