On the official Instagram page of the Finnish national selection, called “Uuden Musiikin Kilpailu”, also known as “UMK”, short snippets of the 2023 national Finnish selection can be heard.
UMK 2023 reveals and releases
There will be 7 acts in UMK 2023, and these songs will be officially announced (name of artist(s) and song on January 11th 2023 at 08:00 AM EET. The competing songs will be released one-by-one between January 12th until the 20th 2023. Supposedly the names of Robin Packalen, Portion Boys, and Lxandra are among the competing songs.

The final of UMK 2023
The final of UMK 2023 will take place on February 25th 2023 in the Finnish city of Turku; the venue will be Logomo.
Eurovision 2022
In the Eurovision Song Contest of 2022 the internationally acclaimed band The Rasmus ended in 7th place in Semi-final 2, and in the Grand Final they came 21st (out of 25).
