Rumour has it that Gina Dirawi will present the upcoming Eurovision Song Contest in Malmö (Sweden). The rumour mill started after an interview on Swedish television.
Where does this rumour come from?
The name of Gina Dirawi first came about after the recording of a Swedish talk show with the name, “Hellenius Hörna”, on the Swedish TV channel, TV4. In the show Gina herself mentioned that she was asked to host the contest. Various audience members of the show say that this hot news was mentioned during the recording of the show, and they informed Swedish newspaper, Aftonbladet. The result is that the item is cut from the show and Gina Dirawi herself asked to not bring the item up again.
Nothing is set in stone just yet, and for now the name of Gina Dirawi as a Eurovision host is merely a rumour.

Gina Dirawi is a famous comedian and presenter in Sweden; she has hosted the Swedish national final, Melodifestivalen, in 2013, 2013, and 2016. She was also the Eurovision spokesperson for Sweden during the voting sequence in 2016.
