Sad news are coming from Denmark today, the first Danish winner of the Eurovision Song Contest passed away yesterday at the age of 89.
Jørgen Ingmann represented Denmark at Eurovision 1963 after winning the Dans Melodi Grand Prix together with her wife Grethe Ingmann. The duet reached the top in London with the song “Dansevise” (Dance Ballad), music by Otto Francker and lyrics by Sejr Volmer-Sørensen.
