Eurojury: San Marino Calling

This is San Marino calling
This is San Marino Calling

From Albania we head to the smallest country in this years contest San Marino. San Marino are being represented by the youngest duet ever, Michele Perniola and Anita Simoncini who have both represent San Marino at the Junior contest.

San Marino debuted in the contest in 2008 in Belgrade with Miodio and their song “Complice”, they finished last in their semi final with just 5 points. They returned to the contest in 2011 with Senit, then from 2012-2014 they were represented by Valentina Monetta. In 2014 she sang “Maybe” in Copenhagen bringing them to their first final, San Marino finished 24th with 10 points.

On the San Marinese Eurojury is a member of their Junior Eurovision 2014 participants The Peppermints. Sara Dall’Olio was the oldest member of the group that represented San Marino in Malta, the group finished 15th with 21 points.

Here are the results of the San Marinese vote:

  1. Azerbaijan – 12 points
  2. Czech Republic – 10 points
  3. Italy – 8 points
  4. Greece – 7 points
  5. France – 6 points
  6. Iceland – 5 points
  7. Albania – 4 points
  8. Russia – 3 points
  9. Spain – 2 points
