The grand final of “Eesti Laul” has just come to an end and Elina Born & Stig Rästa will be waving the Estonian flag in Vienna!
Elina Born & Stig Rästa will perform the song “Goodbye to Yesterday” in the first semi-final of Eurovision set on May 19:
Ten acts have competed at tonight’s show broadcasted live from the Tallin’s Nordea Concert Hall:
- Luisa Värk – Minu päike
- Maia Vahtramäe – Üle vesihalle taeva
- Elina Born & Stig Rästa – Goodbye to Yesterday
- Kali Briis Band – Idiot
- Robin Juhkental & The Big Bangers – Troubles
- Daniel Levi – Burning Lights
- Elisa Kolk – Superlove
- The Blurry Lane – Exceptional
- Elephants From Neptune – Unriddle Me
- Triin Niitoja & John4 – This is our choice
As previous years, the grand final of “Eesti Laul” has consisted of two voting rounds. The ten finalists have competed in the first round of the contest where a jury (50%) and public televote (50%) have decided the top three entries for the super final:
JURY RESULTS:
Only the audience has been able to vote in the superfinal where Elina and Stig have become the winners of “Eesti Laul” receiving the most amount of votes by the public televote.
The show has been be hosted by Marko Reikop and Henrik Kalmet. Last year’s representative at Eurovision Tanja has performed a remix of her entry “Amazing” during the opening act, she has also been member of the professional jury.
