Denmark sends Leonora to Eurovision 2019

Leonora has just won Melodi Grand Prix and will represent Denmark at the Eurovision Song Contest 2019. She will perform the song ‘Love Is Forever’ in Tel Aviv.

Ten candidates competed at this year’s Danish national final:

  1. Simone Emilie – “Anywhere
  2. Jasmin Gabay – “Kiss Like This
  3. Rasmus Faartoft – “My Breath
  4. Marie Isabell – “Dancing With You In My Heart
  5. Sigmund – “Say My Name
  6. Humørekspressen – “Dronning af baren
  7. Julie & Nina – “League Of Light
  8. Teit Samsø – “Step It Up
  9. Leonora – “Love Is Forever
  10. Leeloo – “That Vibe

Tonight’s winner was decided by a combination of professional jury and televoters.  In the first round, the following acts made it through to the super final:

  • Sigmund – “Say My Name” (3rd)
  • Leonora – “Love Is Forever”
  • Julie & Nina – “League Of Light” (2nd)

In the super final the three acts performed once again and the votes were reset for a final count of the jury and public vote.
