News come today from one of the latest Scandinavian countries which won the Eurovision Song Contest. It is no other than Emmelie De Forest’s motherland, Denmark.
As you all know, Danmarks Radio will be following up the same selection procedure they have been producing for several years now to select their Eurovision act, but the point now lies on the fact that they will be making public the 10 artists and their respective songs to be performed at this year’s DMGP stage, on the 28th of January. After picking up a total of 982 entries submitted, an internal jury panel was in charge of shortlisting them all to 10.
All 10 tracks will be available to listen on DR’s official DMGP and Eurovision site, clicking by HERE.
The day after, the official compilation album will be also released to online music platforms and official music stores in Denmark.
Last year, DMGP 2015 was the 3rd most watched show on all DRs channels with 1.672.000 viewers. This year, we hope the number does not see itself decreased after the contest takes place from Forum Horsens on the 13th of February live on DR1.
Are you excited to know the 10 acts that will fight to represent Denmark in Stockholm? Let us know your wish-list on our social media platforms or below! We cannot wait to share more news with you!
