On her socials Czech hopeful Aiko stated that the revamp of her upcoming Eurovision entry, “Pedestal”, is on its way.

On Aiko’s Instagram we can see both a video and a picture that look like a studio. In both we see Aiko fully styled fashion-wise, and we also see what might look like a new music video or maybe even the set-up of Aiko’s staging for the Eurovision Song Contest 2024 in Malmö (Sweden).
The staging of Aiko’s performance is in the hands of Matyas Vorda and Vit Belohradsky, who also directed the Czech staging in 2022 (We Are Domi – Where Are You Now?) and 2023 (Vesna – My Sister’s Crown).

Aiko was chosen to represent Czechia in the upcoming Eurovision Song Contest in Sweden with the pop-rock song “Pedestal”. The voting was done both nationally (30%) and internationally (70%).

Czechia will perform in the first half of the second Semi-final in Eurovision 2024, this final will be televised live on May 9th 2024.

In Eurovision 2023 in Liverpool (UK) Czechia was represented by Vesna with the song “My Sister’s Crown”. In the first Semi-final Vesna ended in 4th position (of 15), and in the Grand Final this all-female group came in 10th (of 26).
